Skeeert of my sister...

Well. Not really, but I never know what to expect when she calls. The other week, she was offering to take me to an out-patient medical procedure. Told her thanks, but if Greg was in town, he'd take me. At that time, no date had been set. Meantime, I go to the consult, the date gets set for 9 days later. In the meantime, I have to have bloodwork done a week prior to the procedure, and then the rest of my life needs to be lived, including prep for The Day. Never gave it a thought to call her and tell her when it was. Made arrangements for Greg to do it, everything was set. The Big Day comes and goes, all went without a hitch. Then the phone rang today. Second word out of her mouth was "I didn't know you were going in yesterday." Uhhhhh...yeah, happened quick. Everything worked out fine. But her tone was rather brusque. I know she thinks she needs to do something for us as "payback" for her 5.5 month-long residency here after she was released from the hospital following a horrific car crash. So I've got that going for me. She wants to help, and the head injury she suffered made her more of everything that she was before. Especially when she's got her teeth in something. She's like a dog on a bone.

Can't let it bother me. I really do appreciate her offer, and the fact that I didn't take her up on it certainly isn't personal. But it sorta feels like that is what she is thinking.

*shrug* Whats done is done.

Moving along.
