Harvest Festival...

Since we went last week (the event isn't until today), does that mean I still have to go?

Harvest Festival is right up there with pulling my eyelashes out. I don't wanna do it.

But I must.

And I must take my wallet...$5/family to get in, $5/ea hamburger/hot-dog meal to support the 6th grader's Sly Park trip (food totally optional, but who can resist the smell of burgers on the grill?), $??? who knows how much to buy raffle tickets to enter into the drawing for gift baskets made up by each of the classrooms.

Ugh. The things we do for our kids.
