Andy Rooney asked a great question 10-22-06

He wants to know what we're still doing in Iraq. Says he'd like to hear Dubya say something that has never been said before. Wants him to stand up and tell America the truth...that he made a mistake. Sadly, Andy can't remember any other president admitting they were wrong either.

Wouldn't it be nice if people would own their words and not spin things around so they can blame someone else? Wouldn't it be nice if people could acknowledge things are what they are? And if those things are hard and make you sad, wouldn't it be nice if people could acknowledge it, move on, and not dwell in their misery?

The truth hurts, but it CAN set you free.
