Dear Other Leader of an Organized Youth Program,

The point of your e-mail was heard. I take offense that you use the word "underhanded" before you had all of the facts. Thanks, however, for at least e-mailing to GET the facts. If you haven't heard, your program is in decline because of it's leadership. That doesn't mean you, per se, but look to your board and coaching staff. Have some standards, set some examples. Not only will we not compete with you ON the field, we're not competing with you for kids. Off the top of my head, we only need between 2-3% of kids from each of the targeted schools in our boundaries. Piece of cake.

Word to your group...we've started other successful programs. People like us because we are here for the kids. Not our egos.

Good luck with your program. You're gonna need it, from what I've heard.
