Sick

It started with a sore throat yesterday morning. I thought it could be from the bleach fumes, or grass cutting, or beer, or crying from the night before. It didn't get better as the day went on. I awoke in the middle of the night with a scorching sore throat and a throbbing head. Got up and took two ibuprofen and got a cough drop to suck on in my sleep.

Got up this a.m., took another ibuprofen, and a couple hours later had an Airborne tablet (in water...it makes you foam at the mouth if you take the tablet directly!) I've taken it easy most of the day. Which really irks the hell out of me. It was a good day wasted! I have plants that need to go in the ground, laundry that I started, but haven't finished, and there is crap all over the counters and coffee table (thanks to the b-day party DS attended yesterday).

I guess the one good thing is that I likely won't go to the gym tomorrow morning. All I need is an excuse!

I hate being sick. And all because on Friday I was crowing about how I haven't been sick all winter.
