ABC's of ME, cuz it's not always about Sue...
My dear friend Sue snagged this from Veronica's blog, so thanks to the two of yoose for giving me a blog topic for today!
A is for age: 44 last b-day, but I think I'm in my early 30's - keep me away from a mirror
B is for booze of choice: Fat Tire beer and cosmo's, though I really don't drink often
C is for career: I'd say my career was banking operations, but I left that 14 years ago, and my 'job' for the past 10 years has been "mom".
D is for your dad's name: James, but you can call him 'Jim'
E is for essential items to bring to a party: if it's here, just bring yourself unless it's 'pot-luck' and if we go some place, we'll usually take a bottle of wine
F is for favorite song at the moment: Can't think of one, but I'm digging a radio station that plays a wide variety of music, and not always that 'one best song' from an album
G is for favorite game: Scrabble, board and on the computer (when the site works!)
H is for hometown: It's not where I was born, but I call the greater Sacramento area "home"
I is for instruments you play: does banging a pen on the desk count? No? Don't play an instrument then
J is for jam or jelly you like: Homemade jam, any flavor, really. Not wild about store-bought, but would pick strawberry or raspberry if I had to buy something.
K is for kids: 1 that I birthed, and a step-son
L is for living arrangements: typical single-story production home in CA with a husband, child, dog, cat, fish, and tomorrow a new kitten!
M is for mum's name: Isabel
N is for name of your crush: I think I had a crush when I was 14 - his name was Denny, then next was when I was 17 and his name was Scott. Love dh, but can't say I had a "crush" on him, probably because there were several relationships before him, and I was mid-20's when we met - sorta past the "crush" stage that one would associate with jr. high/high school. That, or I'm just a cold-hearted bitch.
O is for overnight hospital stays: 1 when my son was born, and I think 1 when I was a little girl and had the mumps or measles - can't remember!
P is for phobias: being in a closed in space. Can't scuba dive because of the tanks and being underwater; don't like my eyes covered, nor my hands cuffed (but THAT is another topic all together!)
R is for relationship that last lasted the longest: currently in it...we're coming up on 20 years since we started dating, and have been married for 17 of those years. Gawldang...thats a long time!
S is for sexual preference: men...but when I want it
T is for time you wake up: 6am on school days, and 6:30-6:45 on the weekends and holidays
U is for underwear: G.I.A.N.T. underpants, everyday, in white or beige - just like grandma wore...I know 'cuz we went to the outlet mall one day and both bought the same underwear
V is for vegetable you love: zucchini squash - anything someone else makes
W is for weekend plans: this weekend, nothing posted, but I'm plugging away at sorting and organizing crap
X is for x-rays you've had: dental on a regular basis, don't think there have been others
Y is for yummy food you make: chicken, broccoli, rice casserole - good comfort food!
Z is for zodiac sign: Libra

Hello, Mummy! Have you seen Bridget Jones? Well, honey, if Renee Zellweger can get laid by Hugh Grant wearing giant unders, you go! LOL
LOL!! I've heard most guys' favorite kind of underwear on the ones crumpled up on the floor!
Pity that mine make a "heap"!
