Nervous...

I had a job "interview" of sorts today. I've known my "boss" 5+ years and we've launched two youth sports programs. I'm in his "inner circle" when there is something that he needs bounced off someone. Today I met him to discuss me working, for money, for him. We still haven't talked about the money part of it in terms of a dollar-per-hour rate or a start date (we sort of ran out of time) ,but what he wants me to do isn't brain surgery. A little different from what I've ever done before, in a different industry, but basic math is basic math and I think once I learn the tasks involved, I can see me taking on more of it.

I did ask if there was a company car. He said there are two, and I suggested that I would like a blue one just like his yellow one. He got a really big smile and a twinkle in his eye! (I'm sure he was reconsidering his offer...really...who wants to have a crazy lady working for them...heh, heh, heh!)
